Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Bible Plus ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Bible Plus is a mobile application that provides personalized Bible content, an AI-powered Scripture companion, audio Bible narration, and a sanctuary experience. The app is available on iOS devices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Bible Plus. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the app. Subscription purchases require a valid Apple ID.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Bible Plus offers both free and paid (Pro) tiers:

• Free tier: Access to the personalized feed, Bible reader, basic AI companion (3 messages per week), 1 audio Bible chapter per day, 4 soundscapes, select backgrounds, and 1 saved collection.
• Pro tier: Unlimited AI companion messages, unlimited audio Bible chapters, all 9 narrator voices, all soundscapes, all backgrounds, and unlimited collections.

We reserve the right to modify the features available in each tier at any time.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Plans: Bible+ Pro is available as a weekly ($4.99/week) or yearly ($79.99/year) auto-renewable subscription.
• Free Trial: New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your Apple ID will be charged.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or App Store Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

5. AI Companion

The AI companion feature provides Scripture-based guidance and is intended for spiritual encouragement and education. Important limitations:

• The AI is not a substitute for professional pastoral care, counseling, or therapy.
• AI responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Always verify Scripture references independently.
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services.
• The AI does not claim to represent God, the Holy Spirit, or any church denomination.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• Abuse the AI companion by submitting harmful, threatening, or inappropriate content.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits or security features.
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within Bible Plus are the intellectual property of Bible Plus and its licensors. Bible text is sourced from public domain translations (KJV) and licensed APIs. You may share content generated by the app (e.g., share cards) for personal, non-commercial use.

8. User-Generated Content

Content you create within the app (saved collections, favorites) is stored locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of your personal content. Chat messages sent to generate AI responses are processed transiently and are not retained on our servers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bible Plus is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of AI-generated responses or the availability of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bible Plus and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, spiritual guidance decisions, or reliance on AI-generated content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bible Plus, its creators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website. Continued use of Bible Plus after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Bible Plus at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of applicable jurisdiction.
